Roxy Summer Splash....hmm...sounds interesting...
a bunch of us Taylorians...decided to go to the summer splash since our part-time job at Eastin has been cancelled..sort of happy actually... get to relax and have fun for a while from those assignments and presentations...
Happily...we reach there can say quite early...10am++ for the Goodie Bags
since they said there will be only 1000 goodie bags to give away...
so by not knowing what is in the bag we definitely wanna have 1 cause FREE ma..
you will nvr know what is inside ..
well this is the crowd...F***ing a lot of pple....
so stuffy also....all those CO2.. i think Sunway's O2 lvl decrease a lot lor...
1/2 of us were there at 10++
which is shannon, june, joanne , su fen, jay and me....
slowly...nana and her friends join in and jay's friends as well...
so as we are happily lining up for the entrance...
when the clock strike 12++pm the kinda like opened the entrance..
and guess what from a 3 lines queue became a 100 lines queue......
darn that really psst me off...
that one nvm... cannot help it.. and ppl started PUSHING......
walao....
so as we sandwiched ourselves in the crowd for about , what 1 HOUR....
we are still stuck at the crowd!!!!
f**ks man...
there are mainly 2 freaking problems...that caused this stupid thing to happen...
1. Seventeen BluInc had done a really bad job in planning the queueing up for the entrance..
2. Sunway Lagoon and their stupid bag checking process which they scare they will have no business if we bring our food and drinks there..(i can understand that but come on this is a 1 day event... )
so after 2 hours of packed sardine...with all the sweaty pple and longkang smell....
we got to get through and go to the EXACT entrance...
well... we are only allowed to go to the surf beach and nothing else...if wanna go to the water park they kinda offer a promo for us...rm30 top up for the water park
which is not a bad deal...but not interested that time...
basically we didnt do much there...
just went to the beach doing some stupid stuff lol... and hang out with others..
reagan, lin, ryan, wayne, seng kwee and his friend...
and then i think at around 3++ or 4pm we kena halau from the beach for the surfers.....
here onwards would be the pictures snapped when we are leaving and left the lagoon...
check out the amount of pple struggling to go in....
i am not sure this is a good or a bad thing....but looks very not organised...

and the event will be on till 8pm... so...i guess they cant even get in by then....

dude, please understand every place has its own laws so please think twice before you comment on F&B policy. Just think if that is your own business, would you allow others to bring in outside food and screwed up your own?

I myself went with my friends to that Roxy - Seventeen event and no matter what, I would never go to that kinda event. Ever.
I only went in for like, 5 minutes ? Then i came back out. What a waste of my time.
Organisation was TERRIBLE. You Damien, i believe you are that guy who was incharge of the crowd the other day, who was yelling at all of us, threatening to cancel the event.
If neither of us go, what would happen to your event? It would get cancelled anyway =.=. You were indeed rude to the crowd, telling us to shut up. Blame the bad management, blame the bad crowd.
The event sucked. By right you guys should limit the amount of people allowed to enter. There was clearly about 25k -50k people the other day and the organisers were just letting people in. The surf beach was packed with people and thefts and stuff happened.
Isn't safety supposed to be placed ahead of anything else ?

Do not generalize all young kids as lame. Do you even know what "lame" means ?

And about that bag checking thing. Hah ! Check my bag =.=. She held my bag, looked at me, and didn't even open and waved her hand asking me to move on.

Please grow up and stop condemning others. It's ridiculous as your counterpart ordered us to line up at the side of the carpark at 10am and by 12pm the line was 'abolished'. How would you feel if you were in our shoes? and yeah, they man just touched my bag instead of opening it enabling me to bring in my big mac and apple pie from Mcdonalds. bag checking huh? lol. So the so called matured guy trying to act smart here. and btw, the event is screwed up poor management and i bet you guys didn't even expect such a huge crowd it shows how much you did your homework. We are your customers and if you feel that we are lame, go find a job which doesn't involve customer service.. wait a minute.. is there any?

oh and btw.. some of my friends came all the way from Johor Bahru just to attend the event. If you're planning a summer splash next year. forget about us as we would prefer to sleep. And I hope you're not the guy asking the crowd to shut up coz' that guy was a real loser. Once again, imagine if you traveled that far and had high expectations on a widely publicised event that turned out to be crap. And why have an event at the surf pool when it is closed for surfing??? I wonder if you actually planned the event properly or just organised the event for the sake of doing it? you're annoying me btw. Get a life as we so called 'young kids' are one of the major patrons in Sunway so think twice before you speak Mr MATURE
